I was born a Military Brat.  My Father was in the US Air Force for 30 years.  I've moved all over and have seen a good deal of the world while growing up.

Now I live near Atlanta with my family.  I have lived here for at least twice as long as anywhere else in my life.  It is a new and interesting experience.  I like it here except for the humidity which makes the summer heat almost unbearable.  In all other ways it is a good place to live.

I've included some links for my blogs (not much of a blogger, but I have something to say on occasion), and other fun stuff.

My GeoCaching screen name (Gaidin Palin) is a combination of the title for the "Warders" in the Wheel of Time series by the late Robert Jordan and a nick name from high school (the only nickname I've ever had).

WayMarking is a Site that is dedicated to virtual caches which geocache.com no longer tracks, at least new virtual caches.

GPS Mission looks to be a fun GPS game that can be played with  phones with GPS embedded.  Looks like fun.

LetterBoxing is like geocaching but without the GPS.  Just following clues and sometimes compass directions.  Also includes hand carved ink stamps for uniqueness.

BookCrossing is a site for releasing free books into the wild (leave it somewhere for others to find) then tracking it's journey.
